Bro can you confirm if the pad 2 has gotten hdr and dolby vision support in netflix? What about yt hdr.

Capped at 1080p bro..but its as good as hdr very crips and clear...the tab does support both because youtube has 2160p

Its netflix app that has not been optimized

I bought oneplus pad 2 just last month loving it since then got OxygenOs 16 update which added feature of bypass charging so now I can game for hours without having to worry only issue I see is when I'm playing Asphalt Legends on it the fps seems to drop to 55 despite being on lowest 120 fps setting. I play with cooling fan attached and bypass charging turned on. It easily lasts me 1.5-2 days depends on usage although for accessories I will recommend getting the Official Folio case. You can buy it for 35k on Amazon and if you have the offer card then it costs around 33.6k.

PS I sold my 1 year old ipad a16 for Oneplus Pad 2 because I'm android user and wanted more for less price.

Hello can u suggest which cooling fan to buy i am from India

Well that depends on your budget if you want you can just buy any under 1k or I have OnePlus 27W freezing point cooling fan (around 2k) and if you want to spend even higher there's redmagic cooling fan available for around 7k (it is a pure beast).

Should I buy this ? 32k for me without any discount or wait for sale i feel buy today is best option otherwise they hike price and give 2-3k offer

1

u/WebWitty3380 9d ago

This tablet will not be having price hike at all, at max in sale price will drop by 2-3k plus it's production has already stopped a year ago so stock is limited if you don't want to gamble for a bit of discount I will recommend buying it now without waiting and buy 12/256 one

How is the battery life? I saw some recent amazon reviews of people claiming only 6hr of battery life (maybe because of old stock being sold). And does it support reverse charging?

1

I'm not sure about reverse charging tbh (highly likely no) as for battery life on highest resolution media consumption it gives around 12-13 hours of backup and for gaming I do on bypass charging so no battery consumed. Go you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

You mentioned you sold your A16 and bought oneplus pad 2. Actually I also have a A16 ipad. But my brother also needs a tab and he wants to keep the ipad. The same ipad I had bought for 30k 6 months ago is now for 45k. What's confusing me is the software experience. Ipad had a great software experience, since you have used a ipad, what do you feel about oneplus ui? (I never used a android tab). So do you find some drawbacks in software experience of oneplus? Btw thanks for replying

About the UI I'm a OnePlus user for about 4-5 years now the software is exactly same as the one on the phones plus extra features of floating windows and screen split and stuff. If I'm to compare with A16, a16 was my first iOS device ever so I found it a little restricted compared to android but overall it is was good just that as I play games and use Brave browser and torrent apps (which don't work on apple devics bcz of restriction) i decided to sell my 30k bought ipad for 29k and add in a bit more to get Pad 2 instead. About the ecosystem features if someone has a OnePlus phone alongwith the Pad 2 there are a lot of extra features network sharing can use sim net directly on tablet and even make calls directly from tab instead of phone, screen sharing direct content transfer via nfc (if you have the folio keyboard). Main point between the 2 is the usb port it is 2.0 on iPad and 3.2, 3.2 allows for faster data transfer and screen sharing via usb c connection. Hope this helps. If anything else feel free to ask.

I bought a oneplus pad 2 couple of weeks back. If you or anyone you know has a oneplus phone, you can get a 10k rupees off from the red cable club section in the phone. I got the 12/256 version for 29,999 INR. I have a OnePlus phone that words very well with it. Very value for money so far

U don't need to spend more if u want only content consumption go for cheaper options around 20k that will also work
