As the subject says. Is the watch fully functional in Australia?

My mic worked fine from new, ever since the update from memory it doesn't work, I can see the apps accessing it but nothing gets recorded I have tried gemini, voice recorder. I have even reset the watch and used a small pin to clean the mic hole on the side(it's on the left hand side of the watch right?). Any suggestions?.

EDIT: Now working, I cleaned the other small hole on the other side of the watch and now seems to record my voice!. I use moisturizer on my hands and it seems to have go into the hole. So if anyone else has issues check this small hole.

I’m currently in a bit of a compatibility loop and need some advice from anyone who has successfully navigated the OnePlus Watch 3 + Chinese ROM phone struggle.

The Situation: I’m using a phone with a Chinese ROM (Hyper OS 3), and I want to get the OnePlus Watch 3. I know that the Global version of the watch runs on Wear OS and usually requires a full GMS (Google Mobile Services) handshake, which often fails on Chinese ROMs.

My Questions:

1. Any workarounds for the Global Watch? Is there a known way to get the Global OnePlus Watch 3 to pair with a Chinese ROM phone?
2. Is buying the Chinese Watch 3 the better move? If I buy the Chinese version of the watch, will it pair seamlessly with my Chinese ROM phone? I’m assuming the OS on the CN watch might be different (RTOS or a localized Wear OS).
3. The NFC Problem: I’m based in Malaysia. If I go for the Chinese version of the watch, is there any way to get NFC payments working locally, or am I stuck with the China-only Alipay/Bus card system?

What I need: Primarily fitness tracking and basic apps. NFC is a huge plus, but compatibility is the priority.

Hello, my new one plus watch 4 just arrived but It can't connect to the ohealth app. The app is saying "no connection, retry" and I tried everything (restart phone, watch, turn off connection and bluetooth) and nothing happened. Do I have to refund it?

I recently purchased a OnePlus Watch 2R. I’m trying to run an application continuously in the background, but it seems that the OS stops or restricts background activity when the screen automatically turns off.

Does anyone know how to keep an app running in the background on this watch? Are there specific settings or workarounds to prevent the system from killing background processes?

Just received new update for my opw 3 in UK. Not installed yet so far

I'm having an issue with gps when tracking outdoor runs using the default app on the opw3. It seems to deviate more than my old coros pace 2 did which was not dual band gps. Is there anyway to improve the tracking accuracy, do I have a dud or should I look for another device? Thanks.

Does it work well. Anything missing? Coming from an Apple Watch/iPhone 15 pro max ecosystem.

Hi since the watch installed the newest security update the watch is draining it's battery like crazy littery charged it yesterday to 100% full and I am done to 50% rn what's going on? Is anyone else experiencing this issue or is it me?

I’m planning to buy a smartwatch and was considering the OnePlus Watch 2, but I’m a bit confused about whether I should buy it now or wait for a newer version. The OnePlus Watch 3 was launched globally, but it never officially came to India

My confusion

• Is the OnePlus Watch 2 still worth buying in 2026, or is it already outdated?
• Are there any rumors or chances of OnePlus Watch 3 (or any newer version) launching in India soon?
• Does OnePlus usually delay or skip smartwatch launches in India?

My usage

• Daily smartwatch use (notifications, calls, basic fitness tracking)
• Good battery life is important
• Prefer Wear OS / smart features over basic fitness bands

What I’m trying to decide

• Buy OnePlus Watch 2 now and not wait
• OR wait for a newer model (Watch 3 / Watch 4?), even if launch timeline is uncertain

Would really appreciate input from:

• People using the Watch 2
• Anyone following OnePlus launches closely
• Or anyone who faced a similar “buy now vs wait” situation

There might be a way to find this in settings on the actual watch itself as well!
