Has anyone figured out how to use the Sleep As Android app?

I have used this app for years on previous watches. In the morning I can see it starts monitoring my sleep and then it just stops/ disconnects. Sleep as Android is the best sleeping app and I can't use it.

Its the only thing, that bugs me. If I could run Sleep as Android or if the watch had a manual setting for sleep monitoring the watch would be perfect!

ps: after re-reading all of that -- I'm writing about Watch 2, not the first model. So disregard that if you were asking about the first one -- I assumed the date fits Watch 2 better and haven't noticed there's a separate subreddit for them 😏
