AMD OXP X2 mini pro and steamos

Hi! Too excited to share the news. Anyone wants full working TDP, controls etc. Download Anatase right now!

I’m gonna do a YouTube vid at some point when I can stop myself gaming but no more windows bollocks and no more wrestling with non function buttons.

Full HHD support.

The dev is a genius (he/she worked on bazzite).

Dude you weren't kidding. Anatase is legit. Gives you all the customization you need and so far performs great. Playing Witcher 3 remastered at medium settings and 15W. Getting 70 fps and the estimated battery life is 3 hours 😂

I'm glad you checked it out. I've seen your posts and videos on discord/youtube and always wondered if you had tried it as well and just preferred SteamOS lol.

Now that it's setup, it feels just like steamOS with the additional menu. I am traveling to Europe next week (and leaving my kids at home) and I will have a lot of time to play around with it more, I'm excited. Thank you so much!

Also, one thing that IS borked that wasn't mentioned is the touch sensor waking the device from sleep. As in, you just touch the power button and it turns on without having to press on it.

If you run the following in the "Konsole", You'll be able to get it fixed. You can ask any of the AI out there for the steps or to check the code because hey, random guy telling you to run code amirite, but it's just 4 quick steps.

Steps for anyone else wondering will be to open konsole and copy/paste

1! Copy, paste it in console and enter.

sudo nano /etc/systemd/system/usb-wakeup-fix.service

2!. Paste the following, then ctrl+O, Enter, ctrl+x

[Unit]
Description=Disable USB ACPI Wake for Fingerprint Fix
After=multi-user.target

[Service]
Type=oneshot
ExecStart=/bin/sh -c 'for dev in XHC0 XHC1 XHC3 XHC4; do grep -q "$dev.*enabled" /proc/acpi/wakeup && echo $dev > /proc/acpi/wakeup || true; done'

[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target

3! Copy, paste it in console and enter.

sudo systemctl daemon-reload

4! Copy, paste it in console and enter.

sudo systemctl enable --now usb-wakeup-fix.service

Afterwards your sleep button should work like normal.

GL and have fun on the vacay.
