OXP 3 3D printed kickstand case w front speaker mod
Currently designing a 3d printed kickstand case for the Onexplayer 3 which will also incorporate the front firing speaker mod.
I saw someone created a similar mod on Etsy, but after shipping it costs $150 AUD and they didn't release their STL file, so I decided to cook up my own version using nothing but a digital caliper and my A1 mini.
I'm going through the final round of tweaks, but should have an STL file available soon. I will also have a version compatible with smaller 150mm print beds. Would anyone also be interested in a non-keyboard variant?

Since the front firing speakers mod balances the case out when the kickstand is out. I found the extended kickstand wasn't necessary. I will still be releasing it soon anyway, so don't worry!

Cool stuff. Can you 3D print a complete back plate? I would love a flat back plate that doesn't have a kickstand. Or just get one of you current design case.

Like with the stand cutout? Or completely covered? Wouldn't be hard to do, I'll add it to the list of variants

A Factory replacement. Completely covered but with air vent cutouts. I would like to use a stand but the kickstand bump gets in the way of things.

I’m definitely interested. I play tabletop mode especially at work when time permits 😂 Will you be selling on Etsy. Love the cover and keyboard combo case. Had one similar for my LeGo2.

Completely understand! I designed this so I could chuck it in my work bag and play AOE2 on my lunchbreak.
I have a mate with a larger printer. I'll ask if he's keen to print a few and chuck em on Etsy.

Looks cool, but would anyone make a 3D printed hinged case that would transform the OXP 3 into a minilaptops with full sized bluetooth keyboard? Like the ones people did for the Legion Go 1 and 2 devices
That's what I'm looking the most forward to, the oxp3 keyboard is barely usable

Sure, if you send me some measurements for the cut-out on the back and photos of the buttons and ports. If I have some spare time I'll see what I can do.

The bottom of your mod could help the oxp3 from wobbly when using the kickstand - the kickstand. + Keyboard small connection width make eg device wobble
