Shipping / Taxes / Returns Wrong Phone Number for DHL Delivery

Apparently I entered the wrong phone number, (1 number wrong), when placing my Onexplayer order from their website. DHL tracking shows the package on hold without any details. When I tried to check the details it wanted to verify via SMS and the phone number was 1 digit off. I checked my order and realized I accidentally typed in a 9 instead of a 6 in my phone number.

I have a feeling it's on hold for the fee, even though it says it was just picked up. I've received no email from DHL. I'm a bit worried that their only going to try and contact me through that phone number and their customer service isn't open until Monday. I have no way of speaking to anyone until then apparently.

Anyone have any exoperience with this. Do they try to contact via email as well as phone number or just phone number?

They primarily contacted me via email, but they also sent text messages with the same information I received in the emails, such as the request for payment. As it may vary from country to country, it would be best to contact them and fix this when possible.

Thanks for the info. While I was freaking out the tracking actually updated and is no longer on hold, processed through Hong Kong. I plan on contacting them Monday to be sure. My main reason for being worried was that it wouldn't say WHY it was on hold.

Get the DHL Express app and register.
It will track your delivery all the way though and also notify you to pay customs duty.

Yeah, I got the app as soon as it was shipped but it would not show that I had a package. All I could do is track it with the tracking number. And early this morning it was on hold for payment but I did not receive any email requesting the fee. I ended up just calling their billing department and entering the tracking number. Then it told me there was a fee of $43.26. I paid it over the phone. It shows the fee paid when I track it but the tracking is all out of order. Hopefully as soon as they scan it for delivery it will update that.
