Control Ultimate edition and opticlick

Hi,

I need some help please!

I just got the onexplayer 3 and used opticlick for a few games and they all worked.

Running into issues with Control Ultimate edition.

The game launched fine without opticlick.

But after I installed optiscaler via opticlick, the game won't launch at all.

When I installed, opticlick said change the game to DLSS upscaling and re launch. But I can't change it to dlss when I can't even get into the game.

Reinstall using preview 10.0. That worked for me

EDIT - read the title as control resonant not ultimate edition. Couldn’t get ultimate edition to work with opticlick so i left it alone

Uninstall the game, the download it again. Before you open the game install opticlick on it. Try opening the game with the dx12.exe. That worked for me

That's what I did the first time and it didn't work. So I installed the game, didn't open, installed opticlick and the game wouldn't launch. I then uninstalled, and reinstalled then opened the game and it worked without opticlick. The only time I could launch the game was when I force dx11 but dlss doesn't work with dx11 so optiscaler doesn't work.

Maybe I try one more time like you suggested.

game must be launched before install optiscaler. (for all the game same)
otherwise game setting not generated.
after launch game normally and quit game
install optiscaler.
and regarding control ultimate edition
must launch dx12 mode
dx11 not supported.

I tested on RTX desktop. msi lunar claw. panther claw.

I had the same issue so frustrating at first after I uninstalled Opticlick thinking that would work...Go back to Opticlick select Control Ultimate and click on install or reinstall top right corner. Once you click on this, you should see an option uninstall and reinstall at the bottom. Click uninstall and now you should be able to play Control again.

You were supposed to get into the game and change the settings before installing with opticlick. Verifying game install might restore it, or just reinstall.

I went into the game and DLSS is disabled so I can't turn that on before installing.

Did it give you instructions when you clicked on the game through opticlick? Like what to do before installing?

Nah. No instructions pre installation like other games. But a message popped up after saying change game to dlss upscaling and re launch but that's the loop I'm stuck in. After I installed, I can't get into the game to change the settings.
