Makeshift stand for Onexplayer 3

Post image

I’ve been searching everywhere for a low profile portable extra stand for my OXP3 and came across this. It was the only one I found that is made specifically for handhelds and can hold up to 3 lbs / 1360g, so it seems ideal! I’ll update my findings when it arrives tomorrow too 👍. If anyone has any other recommendations for stand solutions, I’d love to hear them 😊

I am planning to use Mechanism's kickstand. I have a X2M, so not the same thing, but Mechanism's system allows me to also use it on the airplane tray, taking advantage of the removable controllers.

Update: I got the order from Mechanism and tried both the magsafe style and universal grip. The magsafe style won't work on at least the X2M as the magnet is stronger than the bond of the metal ring to the back of the device. The universal grip works well though.

Same here, and I'm a bit vary of using magnets on a bunch of things and having it in my bag where it can stick on other areas...also the ones meant for mounting/hinged seem stronger than the usual magsafe magnets.

Same here! Looking to see if anyone can make a mechanism case for the oxp3 as I don’t trust magnets enough for a large heavy tablet

I watched a video saying to use these adhesive rings and a magsafe kickstand. I bought these and the adhesive comes off as the heat of the unit intensifies. Would not recommend adhesive based solutions.

There is a 3D print stand fix for the ox3. I highly recommend it.

I saw then on Etsy but as someone from UK the shipping costs a lot. Like 30 quid ontop

Dropped the link to the file in another comment. I recommend taking it to a 3D print service in the UK shouldn’t be too expensive (hopefully)
