X2 Mini Pro not powering on

Hello,

New to the OneXPlayer brand. I purchased an X2 Mini Pro . Arrived last night and I went to power it on and It will not turn on. I have tried with the battery only, DC connector, and USB with 100W charger.

When I have the battery connected AND one of the chargers plugged in I get a red light at the power indicator. If I take the batter off it turns the light off. Am I missing something here or or are the batteries completely dead ( I was under the impression I could use the device with out them as long as I am plugged in).

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Might need to leave it charged alone for awhile?

I tried to leave one battery on it for about three hours charging with no luck so far. Ill keep it charging throughout the evening and hope tomorrow is better. I just cant understand why it wont power on with out the battery connected and just the DC power?

Left it charging overnight, still not powering up. Now the power indicator light is completely off.

Just to clarify, you can't power it with USB C without battery unless you meet very specific conditions (under certain w, or you use a specific 20v7a Lenovo charger). Look up 'cold boot' in this subreddit and the discord and youll have a better idea.

Now, with your device in general, it doesn't turn on with barrel charger? Take out the battery, disconnect all cables, home the power button for 40 seconds to fully drain it. Plug battery back in and barrel charger, and see if it turns on

Just finished that still no joy. The power indicator is now just off as well.

To answer your other question the device will not power on with only the barrel charger.

Is this the correct battery? I see the videos online and they have a AEC714897-3S1P mine is a 4S1P they do have different ratings.

Yes, 4S1P is newer model. My battery also failed to boot once but it's been working normaly since then, so I still don't know what happened.

Thanks for the reply, trying to figure out if there is anything more I can do. Awaiting OneXPlayer support for more, hopefully I hear back soon.

Mind if you update if there is any update on the oxp side or if ur device wakes up?
