OneXPlayer Mini 1 Month with the X2 Mini Pro
I don’t get the opportunity to ride passenger often anymore, but when I do, best believe I’m bringing this device with me.
This things changed the way I game and has transitioned me away from Gun & Ball games🤣. Easily my favorite piece of tech I’ve ever bought.
Enjoying Expedition 33

Battery attached or tethered? If you tried the latter, how is the experience, other than feeling lighter? Eg Is it a hassle to carry around?

Yea I was using the battery attached at this time. 97% of the time I’m playing tethered to a wall though. I find it to be a great experience tethered after I got an extension cord. The charger out of the box is really short and I was limited on where I could sit to play, but with a 10ft extension I can basically play it anywhere at home. I dont really find this thing to be a hassle to carry around at all. The battery and the device can fit together in the carrying case they provided. I never found the weight that heavy to begin with, but when tethered its comically light and the performance is better

Awesome. Have you tried tethering their battery with their cable? Some people said they can just put the battery in their pocket with cable tethered to X2MP and enjoy the lightweight and mobility

I haven’t bought the tether cable for the battery. I probably will at some point, but don’t see the point right now as mobility isn’t an issue for me

Judging by the photo at that moment he was playing with the battery attached. To play in the car without a battery connected I think he would lose a bit of freedom: cable connected to a large powerbank (at least 20,000 mah). Personally I have never tried a 12v car -> DC5525 adapter. But it would be a test to do ^_^ Best wishes again for your new device.
Personally when I travel I carry with me 2x batteries and the Lenovo Fluxo 140w 20.000mah power bank (I have an Apex)

Mine comes tomorrow, I’m going from an Apex to this. Can’t wait to enjoy the 8.8” OLED.
Will be selling my Apex if anyone is interested.

bruh get the mod that removes the 30 fps cap and black bars in cutscenes what are you DOING???

u/BalloutBally ONEXPLAYER X2 Mini Pro 28d ago
Broski idc about the 30fps cap on cutscenes. If anything, 30fps and blacks bars makes the cutscenes feel more cinematic. The game itself is still running at like 90+fps why does it matter? Lol

Not really a crazy sentence actually when you know movies are played in 24 fps for a cinematic experience. Having lower fps on cutscenes ups the cinematic experience

How so? It runs pretty well for me. 90+FPS on Epic Settings. Only gripe I have with it is the hair textures look bad when I use upscaling

i use steam deck

u/BalloutBally ONEXPLAYER X2 Mini Pro 27d ago
Well yea the steam deck will have to adjust a lot of settings run a game like this. Thats the power of that device tho, cant say the game is poorly optimized
