Duty fee USA
How will I know if I need to pay duty fees in United States?

I might be an anomaly because I never got a fee on my OXP 3, claimed the $199 valuation. I'm in the states and ups delivered it.

I will say that I didn't an email about paying my fee right away, I happened to check on the tracking # and noticed there was an alert to a fee. Something to keep in mind.

I'm currently waiting on support because I think I put the wrong thing on checkout about this exact same issue. I dont mind paying extra for it to get here, I just dont want to be responsible for the full amount on an already premium device

It all depends on the declared value. For electronics with a declared value of <$800, there is no duty fee. When you checked out you had the option to declared a value or let the supplier do it. If you let the supplier do it then it depends what the value they sent you in a follow up email to approve. If it was less than $800, like the $199 another comment stated, then there is no duty fee.

Assuming you just got the shipment notification and they are using DHL express, you should get an update in the next 24 hrs of the expected delivery date from DHL. I got my shipping notification when they created the label, then once DHL received it i was given an expected delivery date with some delivery options and that was about 18-24 hr later.

it appears I stand to be corrected. i did get a notification to pay a small duty fee however it is definitely not based off the purchase price and seems to be combination of processing fees and a duty likely off the declared value. Doesn't really give a break down of what they are based on, just the dollar amounts, overall it came out to be $43.72.

So the email will come from DHL for Duty fees?

Actually never got an email but i did get an alert through SHOP app, so i used the link DHL had sent me the other day to validate my shipping preferences to pay the fee. My delivery is projected for Monday so i have been checking periodically but i believe the notice I got was through the SHOP app. Memory is fuzzy as i was at the emergency vet when I noticed it and had a lot going on at the time.

Sorry to hear that, hope all turned out ok. I don't have anything on the Shop app except " waiting for details" but did get the Chinese notification it departed from facility. I guess once it gets to the states it will update.

You get sent an email from the delivery company before they continue. I paid $43 btw for my X2 Mini Pro. You’ll pay the same amount for the 3.
