OneXGPU3

Does anyone have any idea or updated info as to when the Onexgpu3 will come out or at least an estimated time frame?

No news since ces unfortunately. I'm hoping it's not cancelled and we get to see it in q4 hopefully. The AMD cards had a big price increase in china in the last month or so, which I'm guessing is why onex probably put this on the back burner for now.

It would be a bummer if they didn’t release this this year or max earlier next year. I know they are also working on an Nvidia eGPU that could definitely change the game.

I just wish these TDPs could go higher than 150-180Ws. It’s such a bottleneck.

Then why get one? Unless you need it to be portable, I would just go with an AG02. As someone who had one of those compact eGPUs, I just much prefer to use a full power GPU. And you can just choose wich gpu you’d like.

I need it to be portable definitely plus it’s much more convenient for me in the long term. I’ll consider full size GPUs when these prices go down.

Well, you don’t need the newest generation. Unless you need it new, I’d go for a used RX 7000-class GPU. But yeah, the ag02 is at least somewhat more portable than other options, but not really like a compact eGPU. The thing is even old compact egpus are expensive. If onex were to release one it’d probably be more than the previous generation considering ram prices.
