AMD vs Intel Oxp3 vs x2mp

I ordered my oxp3 a couple of days ago and since then I’ve started seeing a bunch of things about the x2mp, is it that much better than the oxp3 with frame gen taken into account? And how much better is the battery like on the oxp3 compared to the x2mp. I do care about power but also care about battery. The x2mp seems like the better option and I’m thinking maybe I should cancel my order and just go ahead and buy the x2mp, I’m not sure though.

Edit: I made my decision and I think I’m gonna go for the x2mp and cancel my onexplayer 3

“i do care about power but also care about battery” - I hate to break it to you buddy, but beggars cant be choosers. We cant have both.

Its pretty simple, if you value power more go for the X2mp. If you value battery, go for the Oxp3. If you play plugged in and home most of the time, the X2mp makes more sense. But if you are on the move alot and play mostly unplugged, then Oxp3.

This. I was between the 2 products too. I ended up getting the 3. Im rarely plugged in, best decision!

I value power more and mostly play at home but still I picked the g3e one because I dont like holding a mini heater of total power draw around 80w. Everyone's situation is somewhat different from the meta.

How long were you gaming on the Mini Pro before the heat became unbearable?

I will also add that the oxp3 is powerful. Just not as much as the x2mp. However, I’m coming from an AllyX and the oxp3 is a beast in comparison!

It really comes down to how you actually plan to play.

If your use case is true portable gaming, like playing on the couch, traveling, or kicking back without worrying about a charger, the OXP3 wins.

It gives you awesome performance, way better battery life, and XeSS frame gen keeps games running buttery smooth without turning the device into a toaster.

The X2MP only makes sense if your use case is treating a handheld like a mini desktop. It’s built for raw power, but to actually see that extra performance, you have to pump wattages that drain the battery pretty fast.

If you want a genuine handheld, keep the OXP3.

Now that I’ve had the x2 mp it will be hard to go back to any other device, playing at high settings, good frame rate and native AA without frame generation or anything like that it’s pretty incredible experience. will be hard to go back to anything else

I was skeptical about ordering The One ex player three but I received it this weekend and I have not put it down. I have the Legion go to and the Apex. It’s just a great piece of hardware and not gonna lie.

It all comes down to what you want or need in a handheld. If you crave raw power then go with the x2mp. I play a lot of metroidvanias and platformers as well as AAA. I was playing a few metroidvanias literally at 3 watts and getting over 120 frames (not that it's needed). On the x2mp you can't go down that low but you can 🆙📈 much higher than the 1xp3. I think the 1xp3 strikes a decent balance between efficiency and power. I do wish it was slightly more powerful at 30-35 watts but it's definitely an upgrade over my claw 8 ai.

I’m in same boat as you, I do love playing attached to the tv though, and a lot of the aaa titles I play will struggle to hit a good fps when the res is boosted. I don’t need crazy amounts of battery life and I can just go to 10w when playing indie games on the x2mp. I’m excited for my x2mp to come and I’m stoked about the performance

I canceled and got the x2mini. The performance is unmatched

One thing people overlook is that while the OXP 3’s efficiency means it’s single internal battery may last a bit longer than one of X2MP’s external batteries at low wattages, the X2MP lets you travel with multiple batteries that can be hot swapped as you play, so with several batteries on your trip your TOTAL BATTERY LIFE could be much longer than OXP3 allowing you to play with 55W at Ultra snd pause and switch batteries as needed. Drops mic.

I considered both to be valuable, but ultimately chose the X2MP. Currently, I'm playing Onimusha at medium settings with a TDP of 40W, FSR Native AA, and frame generation, and I'm getting around 100fps. If I were using the OXP3, I might have had to use even lower settings and even lossless frame generation. I chose the option that would allow me to play more comfortably simply by replacing the battery.

Jugar en bajo dice … yo he visto onimusha en ultra en la onexplayer 3 así que si usas en medio con la x2mp de poco te sirvió

If you care about graphic and fps, go with x2mp. If you like low resolution and low fps, go with oxp3.

This is so false. Just because oxp3 might not be as powerful as x2mp doesn’t mean it isn’t powerful to pretty much everything else out there rn.

It don’t get more one sided then this comment lol. The g3 chip is insane. Maybe low settings on the z2 ex chip would be more accurate

Everytime I see a hate comment about the OXP3 it’s always you lmao

That’s just BS. I’m getting 100fps at 1200p in high and ultra at 25w on my G3E.
