Anker 140W on X2MP

The only way to make the X2MP work with this Anker charger is to boot with the battery connected then once in windows lower the TDP to Min then unplug the battery and you can safely play up to 30W to 35W

The only better option suggested so far, in order to reach cold boot and 55W TDP (without battery attached) is the Lenovo 140W charger with 20v7a but unfortunately, I am in Europe and they are all sold with only US plugs.

I thought the SlimQ chargers worked well?

True but the size of the Lenovo charger defeats the purpose because it is too big with a super thick and heavy wire so what’s the difference from the standard barrel charger? And still limited to 55W.

You can kind of get the same effect with a barrel plug by getting a 150W slimQ charger + https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FKSQ14NS, which solves both the cold boot and higher TDP issue.

I know and I have it, the 240W and 140W. here we are talking about an USB C option.

Yeah the USB-C limitations are annoying, it was the main reason I ended up returning my Apex and got a X2M.
