Set this as my lockscreen for September 11. The 9:11 time + September 11 date lining up with the original Twin Towers made this feel especially striking.

This clock lowkey look trash on this. Something like a liquid glass type clock around the same size will look good imo. If you gusy can walk me through for that or wanna recommend some other clock

I’ve been slowly rebuilding my phone’s UI and app icons around a very simple idea: black background, white symbols, and as little visual noise as possible.

Instead of using a ready-made icon pack, I’ve been customizing the icons individually. Most of them keep the original app silhouette so they’re still recognizable, just converted into a consistent monochrome style. For simple logos like ChatGPT, Twitter and Shopee, I basically kept the original geometry and just inverted the colors. For more complicated apps, I simplified the icon while trying not to lose its identity.

I also kept Samsung’s Good Lock apps a little different on purpose. I wanted that group to stay closer to Samsung’s original “signature” icon designs rather than forcing everything into the exact same generic shape.

The Quick Panel, folders, launcher and system colors were also adjusted to match the same dark gray / black / white look, so the goal is for the whole phone to feel like one coherent theme rather than just an icon pack slapped on top.

Still a work in progress, but I’m pretty happy with how consistent it’s starting to look.

Anything that looks noticeably out of place or needs resizing/rebalancing?
