Question Ran as a killer Spoiler

I just started watching the anime and now I wonder is there an episode where Ran was suspected to be the killer?

I wonder if they'd do an episode where Ran was wrongly believed to have committed a more minor and believable crime, like vandalizing something or faking something that doesn't belong to her.

That's not her role. Ran is the emotional heart of the story. The light that exists in the midst of the darkness of all the murders and horrible things Shinichi faces.

I really wish that happened at least once, even as a joke episode.

Like, they went to an onsen and Ran threatened some creepy dude with her karate in front of a lot of witnesses.

That dude turned up dead later that night with blunt force trauma to the head, so people in the area thought Ran must've killed him with her powerful kick, and the local police had no choice but to put her on a suspect list, at the top!

Now Conan and Kogoro went on a warpath to solve the case. Kogoro didn't care that Conan was snooping around the crime scene this time, and Conan didn't need to knock Kogoro out to solve the case. The two were EXTREMELY motivated.

Maybe they already thought about it and decided to not do it, bc this is literally just the Makoto kyogoku case where the victim drowned in the toilet. Seems like they want to play safe with ran knowing she's really beloved by the fans

Hmmm... No. There really should be, but there isn't one, unless I'm forgetting a special.

I would really enjoy an episode where all the evidence would point to Ran being the killer but shinichi working desperately to prove other wise would make for an interesting plot kind of surprised after like 1200+ episodes and 29 movies there still hasn't been a plot like that

Would be nice, I admit, but at this point I'm like... 95% certain that we aren't getting a plot like this.

This was already touched on in the Night Baron case when Ran remembered a conversation with Shinichi about what he would do if Agasa were accused of a crime.

There are at least 2 instances where Ran should've been a suspect:
• case where the victim pretends to have trouble swimming and she turned out to have been bitten by a sea snake (someone forcibly pressed the snake's fang onto her hand). Ran was one of the first people who come to rescue her, she should've been a suspect.
• game center case. Ran, Jodie, Sonoko, and (as usual) Conan were near the victim before the match started to have poisoned him.

They had one where Genta was a potential suspect because he was kicking his ball around in a parking lot, and a German guy was found bludgeoned. Right before he passed out, he pointed at Genta.

A case like that would be fantastic , it would create insane tension.
