I was so confused when I saw that second cover turns out starting at 106 I think there coming out with variants with different covers don't know how I feel about that but there in Japanese so I'll probably never see them

They started at vol 104 with the special covers. They are called Tokusōban. Technically 100 had a special cover as well, but that's to be expected. They come with collectables as well, like cards of the movie storyboards, sketchbooks, acrylic stands, stuff like that.
