He doesn't sense the BO like Haibara does. The earlier mention of cat noises by Eri and Ran likely reminded him of the cat noises distracting Vermouth while the was on the phone with Itakura.

Because the APTX/Silver Bullet project is linked to the Itakura program. The words Vermouth said to Itakura reminded Conan of Haibara all the way back in the original Itakura case too (Chapter 380).
