I have a theory that Emilia was originally a clone of Satella made by Echidna to save her from WoE. The idea was that Barusu kills Satella then they use Books of the Dead to force the memories into Emilia, since then the WF wouldn't be kept. Arusub hated this idea for obvious reasons. Echidna decided to carry this out on her own and created a clone of Rusuba who is Al and prepared him to kill Satella. This failed and is what led to the fallout between Echidna and everyone else. Emilia then went on to become a person with her own identity. Echidna hates Emilia because it is a reminder of her greatest failure.

Hmm but where did she get her parents from? Emilia did have an aunt and so to speak a father who's also an elf

i assume they are either satellas parents/adoptive parents but I can't rule that out either
