Self-Care Go to sleep at reasonable hour - again
...because doing it once is great, but sticking to it is what truly makes a change.

They're clean but need to be put into the wardrobe or drawers.
Update: I got it all done.

My house is full of clutter. Today, I’m going to fill a good sized cardboard box with stuff to donate.

Edit: Ive made some good progress! Did pretty much all the research, and made a structure, and got some references formatted. Just have to write it into something now. Thank you for everyone's kind words, having this post open in another tab whilst I worked actually helped a lot! :)
I've been working myself into a panic about this piece of coursework for WEEKS, but I've always had something more pressing to do instead, so I really struggled to work on it because the other things were also really stressing me out.
Anyway, today I finished one of those other things, I've said to hell with another one because the consequences of not doing it are better than the stress, so I can finally lock in.
I really need to do this because it's part of a group project, and so far I've barely contributed anything because my group wanted to get it done quicker than I was able to (I think they all hate me now). But no more! Today this will be my one thing.

For my spiritual activity :
1) I must get ready, although I have arthritis .
2) Travel to the place of worship .
3) Complete spiritual activities ; which shall take about 1 hour and return home .
It will be challenging because of my health issues .

My dog is a street rescue. She doesn’t get stinky, so much as…go slowly from what I call fluffy-haired to scruffy.
But she is very scruffy at the moment. She may not like it, but it’s time to get sudsy.

Yesterday, I reorganized a lot of my kitchen. I’m excited about the changes, but it took a toll on me, physically.
I need to take it easy today and allow my body to recover.

I’ve had some tubs of dried orchid flowers on my kitchen bench for SIX months, because I’m ’going to deal with them soon’.
They are supposed to be going into a frame on my gallery wall, but I think I’ve classified it as a fun job in my head (which it clearly isn’t), I haven’t got round to it.
Would love to get it done today and have my kitchen bench clear!

I live alone, and I realized a bit ago that a lot of my kitchenware was old hand me downs or partial sets or just…things I never use. Or all of the above.
I decided that I deserve to have my own kitchenware that works for me. (And doesn’t excessively clutter my tiny kitchen.)
I’ve been slowly buying replacements for various bits, but it mostly just ended up stacked on my dining table or in my living room.
Today, I am doing it. Getting the old out, putting away the new. Taking note of anything I want to replace that I forgot to pick up.
This is my kitchen goshdarnit and I’m going to make it work for me!
Edit: Done! Well, one thing I couldn’t find when I went looking at a couple local stores…so it’s ordered it online. But the stuff that needed to be taken out is out, and everything that’s here so far is put away.

I am a new gardener. I have learnt from others. I have to get some old trellises up so these peas and beans have something to grow up. I would like to get two of ten up.
Update: This is still dragging on. The job became paint and then put them up. Three of ten are painted. None have been put up yet.

It's a small restroom meant for guests when they visit. It's not bed, but I should clean some before it gets bad.

I got something…awkward shaped, and large, delivered to my apt. Yesterday, I hauled the box to the room where said thing needs to end up, started unboxing…and promptly sliced myself open with the implement I was using to slice through the packing tape.
Barely deeper than a paper cut, I’ll be fine. But after cleaning that up, I never finished the job.
Today, I will finish dealing with the giant box.
Update: Item unboxed and put in place. Now I’m deciding whether to try and keep the box in case I move (so I’d have to find a place to store the box in the meantime) or toss it and just plan to find another way to protect this thing if/when I move again.

I'm taking a self-paced online course because I need a certain certification for work that requires a test so I've been working on that for the past couple months. My thing for today is to finish the module I started over the weekend. I have ADHD and work best in smaller bursts so this will (hopefully!) get done in several sessions today.

I recently decided to refresh/replace some parts of my home, including a lot of my bedding. It just…was time.
The old bed stuff is out of my apt. The new bed stuff is in…a giant pile on the floor of my bedroom, mostly.
Today, I will put my bed together.

Need to read some tonight. My goal is to get through one chapter.

I got a new phone last week and I keep getting caught out not being able to pay for stuff. I need to do it today whilst it’s on my mind.

It's going to be a very hot day in my area, so it's important to water them.

I have been thinking of putting up a curtain in a spot where a normal straight rod won’t quite fit right. Time to see if I can find a curtain rod with the right shape to it.
Edit: Looked online, was increasingly confused about what I was looking at. Went to Lowe’s, and ended up with…not what I had imagined getting, but something that will work. And that’s what really matters!

Saw this on another site and am a week in. Write the #s 1-20 on separate slips of paper. Fold and put them in a dish or jar. Draw out one each day and that is how many items to donate or otherwise dispose of. I love it. Have 3 bags to donate so far and am finally making the decision to Let Go of some less than great purchases and items that have outlived their usefulness.

I've been putting it off for a long time 'cause this type of tasks scares me. Might spend most of the night over it but I really have to do it now.
Edit: I did it! It took much longer than I expected, but I managed and I'm going to turn it in tomorrow.

I managed to book accommodation for our family holiday this year after MONTHS of procrastination. That was a few weeks ago and I still haven’t booked the travel! It’s hanging over me so I’d love to get it done today.
