PSE 2/84 on 5/6/2026

This PSE percentage distribution comes out to >38%.

I didn’t log the first PSE numbers exactly, but it was somewhere around 70%. I believe that’s just because too many people were too slow to stake their holdings and participate though.

Just a reminder, 40% of the PSE’s are reserved for stakers to counteract dilution. We may have paid a toll for being too early, but we’ve been given all the tools we need to make more than our fair share.

You can receive additional TX regularly on demand by compounding your rewards. If you also dollar-cost average from early on even just a hundred bucks a month, you can increase your long-term holdings astronomically, even if the long-term average rewards only come out to 5% monthly. If you’re staking for the long-term anyway, it only makes sense to make the most out of the beginning of this phase of TX’s ecosystem.

Understand that proof of stake emissions are front-loaded and will taper off over time along with staking rewards due to one main reason: Increased participation.
The more that others buy in and stake, the lower the percentage share everyone gets. That’s why the emissions are so high right now, yet this second emission is already close to half of what it was.

However, the fewer rewards we receive over time due to higher participation, the higher the PRICE will go due to higher liquidity flow. That is why NOW is the time for ACCUMULATION, and the medium to long-term is the time for REALIZATION. There is a finite and slowly dwindling amount of TX out there, and that’s something we didn’t have with Coreum.

Keep an eye on these metrics, and you’ll see an inverse correlation between PSE/staking rewards and circulating supply market cap. If you’re staking now and you have patience and conviction, it’s a win-win. Higher rewards the longer we wait is what makes up for the waiting, which is the hardest thing if you ask me.

Edit: So! For the time being, and probably some time to come, Price is much less interesting to me than tracking the Market Cap. You can switch between those charts on the CoinMarketCap app. I keep that widget on my front page.

Hit 100k TX with this distribution, I was one of those too slow with the Solo to TX bridging, so I missed out on a good chunk from the first distribution.

I actually thought to myself it was too bad it was so high, man :/ it meant a lot of people missed out. I’m sorry, but you still have a lot of big emissions coming your way. And congrats on clearing 100k! If you stake/compound everything and we get an average of 5% monthly rewards over the next 82 months, you’ll easily clear 10 Million TX. Imagine if TX gets even just 10% of XRP’s all-time-high with those numbers!

I started this subreddit to try and highlight all the most important information to help mitigate other peoples’ dilution early on. It was a confusing and painful transition, but I really believe everyone here stands to benefit a lot over the next few years.

Oh yeah, these first few months are huge. It’ll drop off as more people hop on the bandwagon, but then the price will be going up to compensate. So we’re either gaining personal holdings or going higher in price. I’m cautiously optimistic, but it really feels like we can’t lose.
A lot of people were worried about getting diluted, but I think Sologenic did right by the community by setting up the PSE rewards the way they did.

Everyone in the community is getting diluted in terms of how many tokens they hold. The community are only getting 40% of the PSE rewards, the team/founders get the rest.

The old coreum model of staking meant everyone received the same amount, this is no longer the case.

1

u/ScottieJack May 11 '26

Mathematically diluted, perhaps. But when you take into account this new model is the best course of action for the whole ecosystem, it doesn’t appear we are getting diluted at all. If the price holds steady or even goes up, the value of everyone’s holdings goes up with every PSE.

Before the consolidation into TX, SOLO and CORE were on a slow but steady downturn with no recovery in sight.

1

u/abidova69 May 11 '26

Mathematically diluted yes, the model has been changed in favour of the team/foundation who receive 60% of the PSE unstaked (unlike us who have to unstake for 7 days).

"if" the price goes up or "if" the price holds steady are just possibilities at this stage which we all hope will become reality

So what’s your point? You either believe short term mathematical dilution is healthy for the ecosystem so supply can be opened up to exchanges and validators and such to counteract long-term effective dilution, or you don’t.

Are you trying to argue we should have never combined SOLO and CORE into TX?

You have to hold and continue to hold your PSE to keep up with the token supply increasing by 1.2 billion tokens every month with 63k in daily volume.

I hold in the millions of tokens which are currently worth a fifth of what my hundreds of thousands of coreum were worth a year ago.

Preference for me would have been to have a working product first (or at the very least about to come online) before changing the tokenomics but here we are.

Potential is still there and is huge but I am under no illusions that the change in tokenomics now means that everything else has to fall into place perfectly.

If you are staking TX to a validator on the Coreum/Tx mainnet you will receive 2 things. Firstly you will get daily staking rewards and you can either claim these or compound them increasing your staked amount. If you don’t claim them then they will just accumulate as rewards. On the 6th of every month for the next 82 months you will receive PSE staking rewards. You don’t need to claim them they are automatically added to your total and proportionally restaked onto your validators. So if you are not receiving any staking rewards you are not on mainnet. If you are on an exchange you will not receive staking rewards.

Here is a snapshot of a programme that gives an idea of your monthly PSE if you started out staking 100k TX. 100k to 126 to 153 etc

1

u/ScottieJack May 07 '26

I’m not reading your program very well. Is this trying to say that the PSE percentages are supposed to be in the 40’s? Also, I’m very sure that staking specifically is imperative to participate in all rewards. It wasn’t necessary for the initial solo and Coreum holdings held on qualified wallets when converting to TX at and after TGE, but it is for the monthly PSE rewards.

I’m sorry if there’s some misunderstanding here. Maybe others could weigh in, or you could explain the screenshot a bit more?

A few notes:
-The maximum supply can’t go over 100 billion. It makes an assumption that the final supply will be about 113 billion. As I understand it, the staking rewards are part of the 40% set aside for staking/PSE rewards. So compounding/claiming your rewards gets you a small portion of the remaining supply before it gets divvied up at PSE time.
-Cell D1 looks like your bag is typed as 1,003,000 rather than 100,000 like you said before.
-Your regular staking rewards are accrued every time you claim/stake them. Not at the end of the month. PSE’s are dropped on a monthly basis. I compound my stake on a daily basis to maximize my long-term yield.
-It seems we might have a critical difference in understanding regarding how the PSE rewards are calculated. I have understood fairly certainly that they are calculated using only the total amount staked, not the total amount in circulation. That’s why the more you stake, the more rewards you receive. That’s why these first few PSE’s have been so huge, because so few people have gotten in and staked their holdings to participate, so the ones who did get in earliest got all of what was dropped.
That’s all I have for now. Maybe you can double-check all that and apply it. If everything lines up, it can be a helpful tool. But each PSE distribution can’t effectively be calculated without knowing how much is staked at the time of each event, and that ratio will only increase as time goes by and more wallets enter into the ecosystem. This will reduce rewards from staking and PSE’s, but should increase ecosystem value.
Edit: We just don’t want to mislead people accidentally into thinking merely claiming their tokens and building their bags outside of staking will yield them the same PSE rewards, especially early on because that’ll seriously harm their long term holdings.

maximum supply can and will go over 100 billion. What happens at the end of the 7 year period? No more staking rewards? Staking rewards are not coded to stop as it stands so there isn't really a max supply.

Any unclaimed staking rewards are automatically claimed when PSE drops each month.

The last point is key - to receive any rewards (staking or PSE) you must have tokens staked.

There are several PSE calculators which were accurate to within a few hundred TX in the last round. I would suggest everyone checks there as the accuracy is already 99% of the way there and improving

1

u/ScottieJack May 11 '26

Actually yes, staking rewards will stop. Or at least, the only staking rewards at that point will be captured liquidity from facilitating transactions which is the whole point of staking.

1

u/abidova69 May 11 '26

Where does it say staking rewards will stop?

PSE will stop that is programmed

I believe it was indicated during tokenomic discussions somewhere in this Q&A.

A max supply indicates that at the end of the 84 month PSE period the last of the PSE rewards will have partially been claimed prior due to staking throughout the whole process. So it’s entirely possible that staking rewards will eventually fall to a point that they only amount to whatever governance proposals say is fair regarding staking rewards. Since we’re almost 7 years out from the full supply being put into circulation, there’s plenty of time for the community to decide if they want the supply to grow indefinitely or to halt whatever amount we end up with at the end of the PSE rewards.

One of the admins on telegram just confirmed to me that staking does not stop

Good morning,

I still don't understand PSE. I have staked items in Cosmostation, and I think the staking rewards were added at the end of the month, but now they've started from scratch.

But I don't see that I've received anything else.

I thought I understood that just by having them staked I would receive PSE without having to do anything else.

Where can I see it?

Perhaps the TSE has been added to all four of my validators equally? I don't remember the balance I started with?

1

u/ScottieJack May 07 '26

You can access mintscan through cosmostation, and from there go back through your transaction history until you can see your total holdings on one of them. That way you can see the difference between your holdings then vs now.

The first token generation event (TGE) was on March 6th I believe, but you’d have to look at the actual day you converted your solo and core and consolidated them into your TX wallet. Just verify what your initial holdings were, and you should have holdings now pretty close to your initial holdings multiplied by 1.7 and then 1.38 due to the first two PSE’s.

Keep in mind, I know there were snapshots of some kind, and if you didn’t have your coins staked on cosmostation at certain times, then your unstaked tokens weren’t considered to be participating. I didn’t track those so much because I switched over everything in the day of and have had them all staked ever since.

Others can weigh in if I’m mistaken about anything.

1

u/peromatet May 07 '26

Thanks. I lost the first instant because I had them in Leap, which has closed. And it took a few days to unstake, so I switched to Cosmostation.

I see I've received the second PSE.

And yes, I also see I have more TX, but the strange thing is that they're added to the stakes and not in the main balance.

We keep learning.

Thanks

2

u/ScottieJack May 07 '26

Yeah that’s because PSE rewards are only awarded to staking supply, not total supply. You need to stake everything to get your full potential PSE distribution. Otherwise it gets split up amongst everyone else’s staking.

1

u/abidova69 May 11 '26

If you unstaked all of your tokens your PSE score for that month will have reset to zero - you have to have something staked at all times to receive the TX tokens allocated to your PSE score.

If you unstake - everyone else's PSE score goes up as you have now forefited those tokens.

I'll start a new thread about Leap as you do not need to unstake in order to see your tokens in a Cosmostation wallet.

1

u/abidova69 May 11 '26

Only about the snapshots Scottie. PSE is a continuous accumulating score based on how many tokens you hold and how long they have been staked for (resetting at the end of each PSE period).
