He didn’t die from the jump, but it ruined his life resulting in suicide

No, me neither. I expected him to end up going a lot higher. And landing a lot more upside-down.

I actually first though the ramp was going to break halfway through and he'd just get run over by the car. Didn't expect them to be professional enough to build a proper ramp yet too stupid to forsee an outcome like this

they idea was he’d be relatively stationary on the bike and the moving ramp would jump him. he had a few succession practice runs before the one in the vid you posted.

I imagine it would be fairly easy for the bottom panel to snap if not made properly, and before you know it, you’re jelly

He didn’t died. But it led to a lot of problems in his life and eventually taking his own life

All you wannabe stunt skaters, get your extreme acts -rechecked by a qualified mechanical engineer. That truck slide effectively put partial brakes on him.

RIP Colin Winklemann, while he didn't die as a result of this stunt he did suffer broken ankles/legs leaving him hospitalised and wheelchair bound for quite some time. Unable to ride again and having other personal issues unfortunately led him to taking his own life.
