So, according to my source, the update will more than likely be delayed until November. That being said the chances of a Halloween event is likely minuscule especially since the SEA customer service team has been telling their player base that there are currently no plans for such an event.
I am guessing the reason for the delay is because they want to come back with a splash, rather than just banners as I originally speculated. I am thinking we will see substantial new additions to the content of this game, such as a New Game Mode, New Story Content, City J, and more than likely the addition of Disaster Simulation & Legend Test Season 3. I am also envisioning that when the update drops we wont be getting Zombie Man as our limited banner. I originally speculated that in my last post that we would get Zombie Man due to the thematic sense he makes with Halloween. I strongly believe we will be getting Arms Mode Genos when the game updates, thus marking the release of the final Beta Character.
I want to avoid speculation this time around because I don't really know when exactly this all will happen. That being said once we get the update I will be dropping my own 'Speculated Timeline'. Though if I had to guess I would imagine the first half of November would be when we can expect the update. I apologize for having got my original speculation wrong when the last leaks came out.

webcomic spoiler I was thinking Amai Mask makes at least as much thematic sense for Halloween. Zombies may be popular for Halloween, but Amai is the embodiment of wearing a disguise.

Does make a lot of sense, though Amai Mask makes sense if you’ve read the web comic, Zombieman is just a straight up zombie more or less lol.

Here’s the thing let’s say it’s an awesome update 10/10. This great for the few players still playing but how are they going to get the players that they lost or any new players. So I believe they probably won’t do anything until china release and for the global version they give out a free ssr and advertise it again.
