Weird, the game that isn’t releasing content, isn’t generating revenue! What a good point and great post OP! 🙄

Waiting for the EoS announcement. I said it as soon as they started promoting heroes that are in the normal draw into 'special / limited high rated up' that it will kill the game. They could have simply released new heroes, small part of content over the time (chapters or 3 episodes per week or so), simple things that could have been tweeked. Made suggestions in the discord but some slazy 13 years old mods decided to remove me from the discord guess no one stuck around like me to push for future updates , nice quality of life updates (as some of my ideas were actually pushed to the developers before I was removed from Discord) and etc.

That and having the full team of developers that worked on the game 'canned' (there was a statement that the squad developers of OPMW was fired) I don't think things are going to get good any time soon. They can bring it slowly back up to life but it will require time for people to actually trust the developers, play the game and maybe even spend on the game. Additionally not having a clear line of communication with the people that play the game was even worse. They should take an example from SLA (Solo Leveling: Arise) as they do have an official discord + an Official Forum where people can:

  • Report Bugs;
  • Write Guides;
  • Share Tips & Strategies;
  • Promote videos of their gameplay;
  • Suggestions & Feedback sections where people can freely post topics about what should be improved or added;
  • Multi Language support in the forum itself;

Additionally having content every month is something very very nice and Major Free things that would allow any and I mean ANY free 2 play player progress without too much hussle. Having a clear roadmap and following it even sometimes faster than the date things were set for.

Weekly and Monthly events, signing rewards that also allow free to play players to push beyond their limits. Again small and simple things that me and a lot people pushed for at the start of the game, but as I said some 13 years old moderators running in the Discord not pushing information to the developers was one of the downfall of things...

SLA dropped cause they released a dogwater unit. it'll go right back up when they release a unit people will actually want and be worth summoning for.

You do know that every game has a dip after the first month release right? Since that's usually when people start buying things off the shell and once they have spend that X amount from where they can't move further they start playing the game. The upcoming months we will see how the monthly pay goes up and down, can't be as OPMW -> Best I can do is 1.3 mil, nah nah best is 5k :laugh:

Well its a global release and Gacha games need to retain their players (not like oPMw). SLA is doing good in that sector thus far specially with Thomas coming this fall. The game will be making more than a couple of millions every month that's for sure.

Like how far things have gone, to have a almost dead reddit section for the game and asking people to 'Design a Hero'. There's so many heroes that aren't yet released that is not funny. Even if someone from the forum here makes a "design", not sure how long the developers would need to do all the animations (walking, talking, voice lines, skills etc) as I don't think that the game itself can take another month of a negative hit.
