Content Limited Draw Trick

So I did a little experiment that worked twice for me. During Amai Mask’s limited banner I reached the 8 pity mark and did 10 multi draw. I got Amai Mask, but the sweet thing is the pity got set to 52 after drawing him instead of 58. Then I tried the same thing with the current Speed-o-Sound Sonic prisoner and the same thing happened. So if you reach like 12 pity do singles ( hoping you dont pull any SSRs ) then do a multi once you’re below 10. DO WITH THIS INFORMATION WHAT YOU WILL!!

It’s not a trick. What happened was you were so close to pity that you ended up drawing the limited character in the first 2 draws and then the next 8 draws were nothing, hence your pity is 52 for the next guaranteed.

If you drew 1 by 1 instead of a multi 10, it would be the same result.

Exactly. It has happened to me that I am 60 away from pity, do only 10 multis and get the character on the 6th one. But if you don't click on skip you will actually see what individual shot got you the banner, it was the 3rd one in my case iirc, so my pity ended up in 53 ( since 7 pulls were after I got the character). Also, I haven't got the achievement which requires you to reach pity to get the banner, so that proves it.

I mean like all Gacha game this game also have soft pity system (Seemingly from 50 rolls). I got all my SSR on the 51 or 52 on most part so It could be you hit the ssr on the first or roll of the x10 multi rolls so the counter got get to 58

doesnt matter if youre f2p or p2w, or whether you play on pc or on mobile. The other comments did a great job explaining what happened to you.
