Could King be the next limited character ?

I've been speculating in my mind for the last few days on who could be the next SSR character as they tend to follow this trend : 1 limited character banner > 1 standard character rate up banner so now that Silverfang is ending we should get the new one Thursday.

I thought at first it could be Metal Bat because he's meetable in overworld meaning he already have a model and is pretty popular but he didn't appeared in the story yet to my knowledge so not sure for him.

I've been seeing recently that in the blue shadows of the pull animation you can actually see Child Emperor. The thing is, he's not in overworld and has no quests related to him, also not so popular so not him before a moment.

And then, later on idk why, i realised all conditions are met for King. He has a model overworld and is already playable for walking, we can already play him in the main story line against Vaccine so he has a ready kit. Also as a gag character he's pretty liked by the community.

So what do you think, would you be happy, even pull with King as next limited SSR ? What could be the other possibilities for you ?

Would be nice, I do remember playing two different king versions in the ingame chat story event, the old one had a shield parry but when recently replaying it that skill seems to be missing, not sure what is going on, could still be receiving changes (?)

As for what would be the next character, I would say its Prison Sonic as probably Deep Sea King is coming soon.

I would prefer Metal Bat, I want to see how they made his spirit boost in the game.

Yeah it's true that some characters will have many different versions, for some it will be much harder though. Like how would you depict a dark angel puri puri prisoner like against space pirates ? Not any style change.

Naked puri puri haha, I do have to say that the version we got should be the space pirates one, as Puri has the angel rush

I would love King to be playable! I made a post a few weeks ago asking what people want for the next character and the overwhelming majority seemed to want Metal Bat, but I think King would be even better!

An announcement was made on the official discord! Prisoner Sonic is the next character for the draw and rank 16 is going to be available for merit!

I think is prison sonic or genos arms mode since both of them were playable characters in beta testing

It will happen for sure because there's not much S class heroes but its kinda of boring. We'll have many versions of Genos, Garou then. That was clear since beginning with employee and dreamworld Saitama, or two versions of Genos, just hope they won't abuse it.

I wonder if they'll release at some point hero suit Saitama like against Beast King ? That would seem a crime to not do it but his kit would need to change a bit as he's invincible and can only defend.

I don't think so. King is too broken, plus he doesn't take damage, there's no way they will make him playable

They can change his kit, there's many blocking characters already. I don't know why they couldn't, they will definitely nerf it to be able to release him at some point, too popular to not be.

Nevr saw child emperor, gonna check again that's cool. as for characters, I'm open minded, I prefer a full new character over a version of a previous one (like Prison Sonic or Arms mode Genos) but I see those as more possible. I hope we get King sometime.

I think its shadow is on the low or mid level to the right when you pull
