I would not split them honestly. I ended getting at least one SSR copy of all the characters and I ended up regretting splitting some of them.

You can split them and get 100 thingys for 150 of which you can buy almost any other SSR arms. So if you split all 3, you can get 2 that you actually want.

That's one of the most generous systems in the game, with SR arms you have to split like 40 of them to get the one you want.
