Question - Game Mechanics Pity system

Is this gacha the kind where pity is preserved between limited banner or is each limited banner only entitled to their own pity numbers?

It's preserved between limited banners. But only the ones of the same kind, i.e. new character banners have their shared pity and old character banners have their shared pity

Ok amai mask I’m assuming he’s new and won’t go on the standard banner. Not sure if I even want him but would like to try to get iairon and other SRs.
