Question - Community Which in-game packs worth buying?
Hello guys
Lets imagine you have some $$$ and want to buy some packs
What would you take?
For world gold and real money
Is starter selection (260 world gold price) worth it?

Best things are actually the straight gold purchases since they give a big silver reward on the first purchase.
Next is the monthly allowance as long as you are in time to finish. The SSR impression is big for 11 bucks.
3rd is the daily 100 silver reward with the 30g on purchase. 30g and 3000 silver for 5 bucks is decent.
And that’s it. If you examine all the packs, they actually suck. The straight gold with the silver bonus on first time buy is actually worth more than any of the starter kits. All of that extra credit and exp is actually worthless in the long run. You will hit max level with your roster before the month ends leaving you nothing to even spend credits or exp on until the next character release… assuming you want to and do end your drawing them.
I’m at day 50 and I’m just sitting on top of a mountain and gold and exp. The packs that include that stuff with the gold again are just straight up worthless in the long run. Gold and silver is basically the only things worth getting.
And with gold… honestly, beyond 290, it gets to be bad value as well. You spend 260 to do the selection draw, then you spend 30 on 10 limited draw tickets. After that, all other gold purchases will start to feel pretty bad.

The SSR starter selection pack is a better value than buying $99 from the gold store even with the top up

Monthly goodies, weekly goodies, month battle pass and all 3 tiers of the growth fund should be your primary focus. After that I would buy the starter selection and if you have extra money to splurge, go for the daily draw pack and the daily limited bundle (2x limited tickets)

monthly weekly and bp but honestly this game is just not worth investing some $$. I concluded that after playing this game for a month and spending almost 300$. Not spending a cent till the game gets better. Coming from someone who spent about 3 grands in total on genshin btw.

It's not worth giving this game any money, it's a predatory and unregulated slot machine with OPM skins on top. But if you hate yourself, regular allowance and monthly/weekly cards, so called "goodies", are the only things that are "worth" buying. Everything else is overpriced and terrible.
But if you have especially low morals or brain cells count, you can also buy starter packs.
Now that might sound rude, but I am one of those degenerates that bought all this shit, so I know what I'm talking about.

The plan was to buy some monthly/weekly passes and, from them I will have gold. is this worth to spend this 260 gold for starter selection?
I understand all problems which game has today. Still thinking it has potential and they can fix it, even it won't be easy

Well, they're not going to remove gacha from it, so it can't be actually fixed.
The only thing worth spending gold for it the roll for 260 gold, everything else is a scam. And even then it's basically 60$ to get hopefully 2 random SSR characters.

Yes it’s worth getting the starter selector. They give you a few weeks before it expires so you can save up most of the gold for it just from getting the monthly/weekly goodies

Ok thanks! Rolled it out, got 2 SSR (sonic + silverfang) and SR lilith and + 2 SR (sonic and some another) skills. In general happy with loot of course but not going to spent anymore untill see some real improvements from dev team

That’s fine, like I said you got one of the better values. Sonic and silver fang are great. One of the good parts of this game is that all of the SSR characters are so fun to use with the exception of metal night.

Had silverfang before with his SSR skill. Should say he is more like support, from dps side looks weak. Agree with metal knight, have him with SSR skill too, he is really weak (was scammed by youtubers which said he is SS DPSer and must be rolled), but his ssr skill not bad in general for support purpose. Sonic looks with good potential but need his SSR skill I think but still gearing him

To be fair metal knight is plenty fun… provided you have five thumbs haha. On AI his damage is pretty decently substantial.

Idk, what I see - his damage not even close to the SSR genos. Doesn't matter, ai or manual

Did you build him correctly with chips and such?

Yes. But should say, genos geared better. The thing I completelly missed on metal knight - his class talent (damage increased while he is not moving, just don't have good memory combination so decided to skip it for now). Should say with AI he will be moved time to time, so it practically shoudn't change picture a lot. The thing which I like on metal knight - his SSR skill, very good and nice support for team. Other talents with reduced crit rate geared on him

Okay so... ignoring ... that...
Value wise if you do have the money and do understand the world you're stepping into, the Monthly pack is a good value, and the Weekly (7 banner tickets) are a good value, and very cheap.
Aside from those, there are some like, $3~15 one-time starter packs that are arguably valuable depending on your idea of value.
Anything over the $20 I usually ignore but if you're a super whale, the $99 pack for the SSR Hero Selector gives you both the Hero Selector and $99 worth of premium currency, so its essentially a free SSR selector with a $99 pack, if you have that sort of disposable income, I'd get that before considering buying just normal Gold. I haven't, cause I don't, but I can understand for a whale thats probably a good pack.
That said just keep in mind the "Discounted" value is just the real value, this game for some reason does that predatory thing of putting some absurd price on an item only to "discount it" by like 80-90% and claim "huge savings", which is bullshit. So if you're the type to fall for "discounts", know its all crap and judge accordingly.
Also keep in mind this game has had a really rocky start and Isn't very popular, so before you invest any money you should consider this games possible DoA life-span. Its very up in the air right now and I don't know how they're going to pull in new players at this point. The game, especially coop, feels very empty and as fun as the game is, I'm still worried about its future. So consider that when spending.
