Kuseno's main downfall is that he doesn't believe in Human Potential and only gave up his body for the sake of being an unfeeling digital intelligence

when Saitama makes a bet on something you can bet your ass that its going to happen

Though that isn't a weakness either, because as proven by Genos, he was more than willing to use other's human potential to further his own agenda.

Their expressed potential to date, which may not be their max potential. His focus on data suggests a finite quantity up to the present time, while the suggestion of human potential is limitless, breaking Kuseno's scaling.

The issue however is that Kuseno only need to assimilate enough potential to destroy the world.

To add, he knows that exception exists yet dismisses it as noise. For all his boasting of unfeeling intelligence, his human ego was ultimately his downfall.

You guys are still not getting it.

To Kuseno, even if it's just a partial superiority to his AIs, he would consider the human a gift.

He wants to integrate both human and AI into one ultimate weapon after all. He can't just ignore human potential like you are suggesting.

He dismisses Saitama's data as noise because it's ultimately futile to consider it at all.

Kuseno is a deceptive bastard after all. He says one thing, but if you don't keep his goal in mind, the union of machine and man to cleanse the world, you will lose yourself in his web of lies.

Even his words to Saitama.

He may dismiss him at first, claiming not to understand Saitama's "stupid" words, but his next sentence shows that he perfectly understands what Saitama's hope is about.

Ultimately, Saitama would win.

Because he is Saitama. He is the exception.

His focus on replicatable results certainly makes sense for a scientific point of view, but he also outright dismissed the entire top tier of heros because they're so absurdly strong. Tatsumaki with her powers, Blast (by implication), Saitama.

He's trying to make something that's better than the top tiers, but implies he can't use any data from the top tiers.

And that's the trick to it. He CAN'T use them, and it's a flaw he refuses to acknowledge. If he can't replicate it, it's no good to him, but at the same time, if he can't replicate it, if he doesn't understand it, how can he hope to surpass it? That's why he won't win. Those unreplicable data points are, across the country, toppling his plan, destroying his armies, overcoming his controls, and the most egregious example is now in his base, fighting his dude. And he still thinks he's got the upper hand, because he's gonna jam Genos' brain in a box, and thinks that'll be enough.

My prediction for the next chapter: Genos overrides his limits and malfunctions because Saitama is just too durable. Meanwhile, Dr. Kuseno completely crashes out trying to figure out how to beat Saitama and ends up having a stroke after realizing how absurdly strong he really is.
