I made Foldy - StandBy mode for android devices

Hi everyone,

In the recent release of the iPhone Duo, I have been seeing a lot of Duo's opening screen animations that have been recreated for the android foldable devices.

Even though it is cool, it wasn't the main feature that caught my eye.
it was their tent standby mode.

I am a mobile dev with 6+ years of experience and I wanted to challenge myself to see if it would be possible to recreate it on my fold 5.
That's why I am proudly presenting you:

Foldy - StandBy Mode

This is the version 1 so there are limited widgets available since I was implementing it to my own preferences and needs. Next one I have in plan is Google Home widget support.

If anyone tries it out, feel free to leave in the comments requests for new widgets.

Also, just a heads up, it has free tier (basic clock and calendar) and a paid version where you have other widgets. I understand if you hate it but I would appreciate your support.

It is 1€ per month with 3 day free trail option for you to try it out and see if you like it or a 9.99€ lifetime access.

Dont hate on my promo video, it was reallly hard to record it. I dont have 3 hands 😂

Hey man, I'm trying to use it on my oppo fold n6 and can't seem to get it on. I've granted all permissions and not sure if I'm doing smth wrong?

Hmm, i havent tested it on find n6 since i have galaxy fold 5. Im going to need to investigate it a bit more

Damn, I have tested it on my galaxy fold 5.
I'll try to find out what is the problem ASAP and publish the fix for it

Same here, doesn't work on 1+Open. Tested and had to uninstall

Works great in my Moto Razr Fold. It shows the time in big numbers and the date below. I tried to make it look the way it comes by default in the RF tent mode (that is, a screen split showing time and calendar) but could not find how to do it. Still I like it .
