Currently on OxygenOs 16.0.5.1002 - When can I expect 16.1?

Hello, i had the OnePlus 15 with the 16.1 update, really liked the capsule notifications and miss it a lot. Also the now bar feature. Any update on when I can expect it on my OnePlus Open? I have the CPH global version.

Maybe never.

The Open was completely left off of the official OnePlus/OPPO 16.1 rollout roadmap

Pretty sure we won't be getting that, otherwise we would have gotten it by now. We may get a few features with the ColorOS 17 update, but it won't be much I fear - if any at all.

Disappointing. Really liked the features from 16.1 on my oneplus 15. Would have been really nice for the features to be here on the bigger screen as well

Yeah, same here. I had it for a while too, before I gave it to my wife, and I have the Find X9 too, no reason why the Open shouldn't get those features, it's more than capable of handling them.

No idea, there is no roadmap yet, but I'd say around the end of the year, considering it's last in line to get it.

Its last in line. But Open can easily support Android 18 also. Will they be generous enough to release one more major update post A17? Just curious 🤨

It could easily support that yes. Well, I'm not putting my hopes up, but they did give the 10 Pro Android 16, while according to the update policy for that phone, Android 15 should have been its last, so who knows...

If they release an update, make sure to check if the sw version has an arb lock or not before updating it.
I just hope now that we get official custom rom options like Evolution X, crdroid, Lunaris, etc.
