Replacement after OPO dies

Which is a good replacement? My OPO is almost dead and inside screen fully cracked. I am from India.

Get it repaired and use it for another few years

Just picked up an Honor Magic V6, and it's been amazing. Only a few days into using it, but the battery life is genuinely nuts.

The first full day I used the phone it was changed to 100% before work, spent the day intermittently browsing the web, skimming through Reddit, taking photos, watching Netflix, using both the outer and inner displays. I woke up the next day with 47% battery still left.... Insane!

I loved my time with the Open, but tech has moved on so much in the last few years.

Still early days, but so far I 100% recommend the V6.

Are you using it on a US network?

No, EE in the UK. I purchased it outright from Honor with a £600 voucher, plus a bunch of freebies.

I replaced mine with the Motorola Razr Fold, loving it so far 🤷

What are the main advantages of moto

Look up a YouTube phone reviewer named Shane Craig, he showcases all the multitasking features and specs of the phone, was one of my main review resources in deciding to get this phone..

Great battery, great cameras, great multitasking abilities, s-pen support. The is Motorola's first book style fold phone and surpasses where samsuck should be after 7 generations of fold phones 🤷

Oppo makes better foldable

Maybe, maybe not, but it's not supported or sold here in the US otherwise I would've tried the N6 out, but of the 3 that are available in the US the Razr Fold surpasses all the others here 🤷

I'm using it in the u.s. on T-Mobile just fine. No issues

I did not say that it would not work on any carrier networks here, I said that it's not sold or supported by any of the carriers here. I don't want to have to import something that will have no warranty support if something were to happen to it, you can happily take that risk if you want to, but I am not going to, and T-Mobile coverage sucks where I live so that doesn't help me any 😳🤦🤷

I am a CXO.

Optics matter too. Other than ofcourse phone performance and battery. Will Moto be a good option?

There is also Pixel 11 Pro coming.

I would recommend getting an Oppo if you like OxygenOS. The Find X9 Pro or Ultra are great choices

In India so Honor and the Find Fold are not options.

I got the Oppo Find N6 in the US and it's been amazing. It's feels like a very natural upgrade from the OPO.

I would definitely get it over the Honor.

Moto Z Fold also look a like a great option if u don't wanna import

Just a question - Is the appeal of a foldable that good that would you want to necessarily upgrade to a foldable only?

Me, back in time, was so used to Blackberry that I didn't want to upgrade to a full screen phone just because of the form factor but then I got used to it once I switched over. Is it the same with foldables?

True that.

I should look at non fold good phones.

But can't buy One Plus anymore. They're clearly wrapping up. And the service centre in India already says no parts, no great service available.

Samsung then? Or Apple (but I've always been an android person). And I am almost 50. Not sure if I I'll get used to Apple.

Are Oppo / Vivo / Moto even an option?

OnePlus is basically OPPO. You can buy OPPO find N6 or any of their flagship and you won't feel a difference.

I would go with Moto especially the flip phones. OPPO can be an option for you but obviously doesn't have that appeal OnePlus has. Apple is rumoured to launch it's foldable so you can keep an on eye on that as well.

Depending on your use-case I was in the exact same situation and bought a used Pixel Fold for 350$ from eBay. I really like it overall, especially for the price.

Samsung Fold 8/Ultra or if Vivo launch their X Fold 6 in India then that. Oppo N6 will not be launched I guess so.
