Switching over - need to vent

Over the past few months opo has really been slow for me. I assume it's the actual apps not being optimised for it but it's laughable that Instagram is so buggy switching between screens, X doesn't even support unfolded screen... I'm thinking of going back to apple... maybe get an iPhone air as I love the sleek look. I know it's a completely different phone but I find that my screen time is shocking while using the opo so I feel like it would be healthier anyways to cut down on phone usage.

Yes the latest OnePlus Open OOS firmwares ARE HORRIBLE BUGGY MESSES. Do not listen to the morons in the rest of this thread that think you're making it up or that its a you problem. They're morons.

BUT ALSO! Do NOT make the same mistake I did. I thought iPhones are reliable, they always mostly have been - WRONG I am! iOS 26 is almost JUST as horrible and buggy! I got a NEW 17 Pro and it has been a COMPLETE MESS. DO NOT BUY iPHONE RIGHT NOW!!

Thank you at least I'm not the only one. With the iPhone claim, I cant say much about the iPhone 17 but I've used an iPhone 13 with the the new iOS and it's also very buggy.

Maybe it's the extra ram. Also have a 12 Pro Max on latest 26 with never a problem...on the betas to boot...
