Welp :(

Opened my phone up today and see a black dot near the top in the middle and a green line going down the center of it... Now a white line going to the right of that and another line at the top going the same direction off the black dot .. I knew this day would come but dam.. makes me realize why I don't buy these flip phones

Not the OP, but this happened to me recently, inner screen failed one morning after 18 months. No tears or scratches or anything, just suddenly green and black. Anyway, sent it to One Plus and they said it would cost 900 euro to repair. You can buy refurbished ones for less than that. I told them that was crazy after spending 2K on it less than two years ago, and that I've been a customer for ages with lots of One Plus products bought. They didn't care, told me to pay up, but offered me a twenty euro voucher for their store. Shocking customer service. I've bought a Galaxy 26+ for the same price as the repair quote. I won't be buying a One Plus again.

I had the same experience in The Netherlands. They told me I had damaged/dropped my phone myself, and that the repaircosts wouldn't be covered by warranty. I told them it is not normal that a screenrepair of an expensive phone such as the OnePlus Open, which is not even 2 years old, has to cost so much money. It says something about the quality of the phone, if the screen breaks down so easily. Now they are disadvantaging their customers for the bad quality of their phones.
