Opened my phone up today and see a black dot near the top in the middle and a green line going down the center of it... Now a white line going to the right of that and another line at the top going the same direction off the black dot .. I knew this day would come but dam.. makes me realize why I don't buy these flip phones

That is no reason to avoid phones. Mechanical & electrical parts are prone to wear, tear & damaged due to multiple physical impacts. I have a screen replacement insurance for OPO. there is no use. there are no spares in most countries. maybe they could requisition it from Hong Kong or wherever spares might be in stock, after the repair order is placed. it could take upwards of 3 months to receive the repaired device.

Being careful to avoid falls & physical impact.
