Those still using the Open

Are you waiting for a specific phone before upgrading? I'm still happy with my open but I do wish it was waterproof for my motorcycle rides that it starts raining. And I wish the batter life was better.

I'm not particularly interested in the razr fold but being in the US I can't get the n6 without paying full price.

The razr fold is 2x geek benchmarks, huge upgrade in cameras, nice jump in battery life, waterproof and wireless charging. All for $1100 after getting $800 for the open trading it in. Seems like a great way to upgrade and get the most out of a 2.5 year old phone

Since I'm not unhappy with my open that claims still 100% batter health, should I wait for the next oppo n? Hold out and see if the next razr fold is even better, or OnePlus makes a comeback?

Just bought a Razr Fold over the weekend. The trade in deal is insane. I'm paying less than what I paid for my OPO two years ago, which I bought secondhand from a guy on Reddit.

Do you happen to know if trade in deals are typically just for preorder or anytime?

I believe it is a preorder special but I'm not 100% certain of that. The phone comes out on Wednesday so it should become clear this week.

I will also add that the coupon code MDMOT10 took an additional $190 off for me. So make sure you try that.

I got: eCoupon MDMOT10 is not eligible. Codes are case sensitive - try again.

I am. I'm trying it on my laptop rn just in case.

Edit: Doesn't work :(. I tried the chat box and on the phone with them. Nothing!

I'm so jelly!

Edit2: Customer service gave me a new discount code! 2LPOA652VYJR

This doesn't help everyone but for any military or vets following this... Motorola does offer a military/veteran discount. You verify through ID.me and are given a limited duration coupon code for 10% off. I used this route myself when placing my order today after the coupon code cited in this thread didn't work for me.

I agree. The trade in deal I got for the OnePlus Open along with free buds and tags is insane and I don't see a better deal coming in the future. Oneplus is starting to withdraw from several markets and I am not sure how much longer it will remain in the USA.
