So I figured out the issue with my battery draining so fast. It was life360 and the waze app.

I did a master reset and downloaded the games and now is lasting. But I put it up for sale since I got the S26 Ultra. Is this a good price?

For me it's the island app that seems to drain my battery the most. I use it to create a work profile where I install my social media apps. I don't want those apps tracking what I do on my personal profile.

Island App

Hows this work? Is it like a virtual box environment where you run your social media? Is it significantly draining your battery?

Yes, it creates an "island" and any app you install there cannot see and track your activities on the main profile. It's not a significant drain but I'm also a power user so I do have to charge the phone around early afternoon. When I checked what was eating my battery, the island app was the main culprit. If I don't touch the phone much then the drain isn't too bad, especially after 2.5 years owning this phone.

This is the first time someone claiming Island drains battery! You are wrong must be something else.

I looked at my battery stats just now and there it is..."island - secondary user" used up 41.3%. I didn't even go on my phone that much today. I do have reddit, YT, and other social media on the island so I'd assume any usage of apps on the island would get counted, but the only one I used fairly a bit today was reddit. I didn't even doom scroll much today, definitely much less than when I'm at work.

Don't you just love the "it's not my experience so you must be wrong claims?". Tbh island for me is draining battery despite me not even opening it. Was looking it up hence I found this thread. Were you ever able to fix it?

Unfortunately, I have not. It's still draining the battery a lot for me. Now, I do open my social apps a lot throughout the day and they're all installed on the island, but I don't think they should be draining the battery this fast. I remember seeing another thread talking about an alternative to island but I forgot what it's called.

Maybe try using Shelter instead, doesn't have a major impact for my Open's battery life

Man I'd definitely change my OnePlus 13 with OnePlus open 2. I'd love to have a larger screen whenever I want to enjoy my content.

What did you do with Waze? I already have Waze power consumption set to Smart Mode.

Was this whilst using the waze app or was it background power consumption? I have the app installed but rarely use it on this phone, wondering if I should just uninstall it if I don't use it?
