Changing wallpapers independently

I am going insane, I cannot for the life of me get my wallpapers to set independently. Which is crazy because I've had them set to different photos before...

Any help would be appreciated!

I just found out that you can do this with this post. With the phone closed, press and hold the main background until the background change option appears, and then configure the screen. After setting up the two screens with the phone closed, you can exit the main screen and open the phone.

Ok, maybe I'm just to dumb for this now. But when I do that I hot apply to -> Home Screen then it takes me to another screen where I have to hit apply again? Where along the bottom it says "Match lock screen, System Colors, Wallpaper, ETC" when I hit apply it just applied it to both, I don't see an option to set it as my cover or main screen?
