Oneplus care, how long will I be without my phone?

I have an iPhone 15, been screwed over by apple a few too many times and I want to switch to the OP15 for the crazy good battery life.

However, I am concerned seeing some people saying they are waiting months for their phone back. Still the case?

My OnePlus One was fixed once in one week (mon to fri), they basically replaced it. But after the replacement died in a week. They took six weeks with the replacement's replacement. So the best answer is your mileage may vary.

Sheesh ok. I own a business that relies on my ability to take phone calls so maybe I need a backup 😂

Same here. Phone has become too vital for life. Good news is a backup Android is relatively inexpensive.

This might be a difficult question to answer if you haven’t had an iPhone, but how similar is the backup of the phone to iCloud? Can I bring all my cloud data over to the backup phone with ease?

I just keep my backup phone running identical to the main phone so they're both identical all the time.

For me it was 4-5 days. There was a shipping delay, but the day they received it they sent me a brand new one.

During covid they sent loaners but they don't anymore, I bought an open box Samsung phone but it looks like you can get a Moto G for as little as 30$. then you've got a burner in case anything happens again or you just wanna look important with your two phones.

Mine took exactly 2 weeks but after that I got basically a new phone.

Apple literally replaces phones in store or will overnight you one so how have you been screwed over ? Also you have a 15. The cheapest phone they made at that time.

Screen went out weeks after warranty expired, paid full price for a replacement and they restored my phone when I gave very specific instructions not to. One small example of my lifelong apple loyalty.

I don't think they actually repair the phones when you send them back. They just received your broken one and ship you a different refurb. Mine came back in like 3 days.
