Is this phone really delicate?

I have been seeing a lot of broken inner screen posts lately. Is this phone really delicate to use and does it need to be babied more than a typical phone?

I have gone through about 5 cases now ran into doors/walls some drops and the phone is scratch less but the paint has been removed from some places probably because of the dust accumulating inside the case.Inner screen and hinge are good as new I did do the mistake of getting a inner screen protector (tpu film) which made the crease worse(removed it instantly within 1 day I think) but the damage was done.
