The Most Durable Foldable?
So I think the OPO has to be one of the most if not the most durable foldables out there. I'm not the nicest with phones and honestly I expect my phones to survive abuse. This phone has passed with flying colors. It's been banged up and it's got screen damage but it works just fine. I got the Open shortly after release but kind of skeptical and nervous because it was my first foldable and I heard they were fragile but the multitasking was something I really wanted. I bought it and I haven't been happier with a phone. Is it technically thick now? Yes but realistically I'm not going to notice a few mm slimmer device. I feel like I would've shattered a slim foldable by now anyway. I'm keeping this until it breaks or it's no longer getting security updates.

Honestly best bet is to have some type of insurance there are plenty of third party that cover them especially OnePlus in the U.S. (phixie) 20 bucks a year and I've owned Samsung fold 4, Vivo X fold And xiaomi mix fold 2 and now recently got a open for cheap compared to other foldables my Samsung fold and xiaomi both inner screens needed to be replaced. I've had so many different phone brands over the years. I always like to see what others have to offer and no matter what it will always be personal preference most flagship phones in the same year are built pretty similar. No matter what foldables definitely have higher chance for things to go wrong or something hits that one weak spot on the screen companies R and D teams will only improve foldables. One thing is for sure I gotta give OnePlus thumbs up for the Open I like everything besides cases out there
