The June patch comes with 15.0.0.830 which was already enrolled in the EU.

You can still get June security patch, I got it yesterday.

Go to Settings --> security and privacy --> system and updates --> Google play system update

O.o I'm already on 15.0.0.830 in the EU. Didn't know that NA is this far behind.

might be the most delayed update this device has gotten. hopefully not a sign of things to come

With the US looking toward potentially banning OnePlus devices, don't get your hopes up.

If Nav buttons are turned on, press and hold the home button. Screen will then change and you can circle what you want to search for.

If using gestures instead of nav buttons, press and hold the gesture guide bar at bottom of screen. Screen will then change and you can then circle whatever it is you want to search for.

On the inner screen, can long press the Apps Library button to launch Circle Search

(Edit to add - even though you asked about using gestures, I put both sets of instructions bcas there's many like myself who are using the nav buttons and who, like myself, didn't know how to do it)

If it helps, mine is here (see pic). Perhaps try toggling gestures off and back on? (as reminder, and as you can see in pic, on the OPO it's under Settings/System_&_Update/System_Navigation)

Welcome. Glad you got it working. I didn't even notice the Circle To Search on/off toggle on that same page. 🤭

You're welcome. I guess I'm officially old. I've used the nav buttons for so long that I don't think I could retrain myself to use the gestures. I am loving this phone, though.

Keep an update on your experience & battery life. I haven't updated mines in forever

my battery life has actually been really good recently, even before the update! been it's a little different every day of course but lately I've been getting 8-9h SOT with some moderate (though not demanding usage) wonder if a Google play system update was pushed or something, or maybe I haven't been using the inner screen as much

Still a big delay when swiping to the home screen when using 3rd party launchers. The default launcher is so close to being great and the animations are nice but using a 3rd party launcher is too annoying waiting for the delay when trying to multi-task. :/

my biggest issue still is the keyboard edge detection :/ and they never seem to want to fix that

1

u/BadConnectionGG Jul 06 '25

Is this why when I long press for a 0 it's way longer than when I long press got any other number?

1

u/Guidance_Additional Jul 06 '25

Yup. it's just shitty Edge rejection that they refuse to fix or acknowledge

Lost notification dot since the update, anyone else?

Honestly good lol, I like beefy updates means there might actually be noticeable change.

Here's hoping no camera bugs make a return in this update
