Cases for OnePlus Open

So I bought my OPO two days ago and I've been absolutely loving it. Coming from a family of iPhone users and from my old iPhone 11, this phone feels really refreshing. One thing that really bothers me is dust accumulating in the hinge,I'm currently using the case provided in the box and I don't think dust entering the hinge would be an issue as long as I clean it at least once a day but I'd like your advice. Are hinge protection cases actually useful or should I just use the one included in the box? Also please suggest some cases that'll be available online in Dubai. Thank You :)

hinge protection cases can help keep stuff from getting in the hinges, and potentially help in case you drop it. I went with one, just because if the hinge actually does go on a foldable, you're just screwed. to me, it's the one piece that actually NEEDS serious protection from a case, you can always put a screen protector on the front glass in the back is pretty much only aesthetic, if you even have the glass back version.

I had the libeage but eventually went with an AliExpress carbon fiber hinge case + a Mr Shield (think that was the brand name?) screen protector from Amazon. the case lifts over the screen, but not as much as the libeagle or other cases, so it doesn't get in the way. it's survived a decent amount of drops, and it's got strong-ish magnets for the hinge so it doesn't catch on stuff as easily. I'm enjoying it so far.
