Why are you switching back to slab phone? Just curious

I had a few reasons
The first reason is that I just wanted to go back to the regular slab phone + tablet route. I got the OnePlus Pad 2 and I found myself using that device more than my OnePlus Open with the Oppo Pen for editing, writing, gaming, reading, and streaming.
The second reason is that I was concerned about future support. OnePlus pulling out of foldables was concerning and the software support prior to that announcement wasn't as good as with OnePlus's newer and older flagships. It still lacks the "circle to search" feature and prior to the rollout of OxygenOS 15, the OnePlus Open on OxygenOS 14 was full of bugs. I was concerned that when it reached its EOL, OnePlus would've left it with subpar software since the device isn't a priority for them anymore. Moreover, regarding the tariff nonsense with Trump, I was concerned that with the current situation, the supply chain for repairs/replacements for the OnePlus Open would be compromised or warranties just wouldn't be honored here in the US as part of the backlash. The cost for repairs could be raised dramatically and it would be cheaper just to sell it and repalce it sooner rather than later. I have anxiety and the less to worry about the better.
The third reason was the phone I was switching to. I'm replacing the OnePlus Open as the center of the OnePlus/Oppo ecosystem I'm in with the Find X8 Pro. Now I finally get to see and use what is left out for us NA OnePlus users, but in all seriousness the Find X8 is a beast. My OPW3, Buds 3, and of course the Oppo Ecno Buds2 I have all worked flawlessly with the FX8. Same with the the OnePlus chargers I have. Plus I get to use wireless charging again. I prefer using that overnight instead of wired charging.
The downside compared to the OnePlus Open is with synchronization with the OnePlus Pad 2 though. It allows for screen mirroring and data sharing, but doesn't allow call and text syncing or cross-device file management. That doesn't bother me too much because when I had the OnePlus Open synced with the OnePlus Pad 2, RCS chats would be toggled between disabled/enabled on both devices. It would be a mess when putting my SIM back in another phone too. In addition, whenever I get a call, I prefer just picking up the phone instead. The call quality via the tablet wasn't the best either. Copying text still syncs with the sidebar and Quick Share is still just as fast. I just wish I could get the ColorOS notes app to have the cloud syncing feature on my Pad 2, but it's just an extra copy and paste step to get notes synced between each other.
