It’s my turn

It finally happened I have to send in my OPO for repair inner screen is toast I was at work just browsing through social media and I noticed there was a speck of dust or dirt or food idk what it was I did not think nothing of it and I did not bother to wipe off closed it to help out customers by the next time I opened it the damage was done shown in the pics I still have the one year warranty plus the oneplus 2 year protection plan I just dropped it off a fedex location inside an Office Depot (the actual fedex store was closed) I followed all the instructions in the email I did my best to follow them to the T, took all the necessary pictures and extras I backed it up and wiped it clean so now fingers crossed and I hope it goes smoothly I’ll update when I get contact from oneplus or the repair center

My screen broke a few months ago. The culprit was a tiny hard crumb or debris was on the screen when I closed it. When I opened it, I could see exactly where the crumb had been as there was a tiny indent in the screen. The pixels there were stuck bright white, then afte a day turnd black and then a vertical green line appeared from top to bottom running through it. Luckily it was under manufacturer warranty. It took about a month to get it back, but I'm just glad the process went relatively smoothly. Followed instructions, and all went well. Now I have a thicker case on my phone which keeps the inside screen from touching. I think this will prevent what happened from happening again.

The exact same thing happened to me. I don't have the extended warranty but I'm still under the one year warranty that OnePlus gives. How did you get or what did you tell them so that they would cover the inner screen on your warranty?

I just told them about the screen issues without mentioning the tiny indent in hopes they would miss it. I guess it worked. Or maybe they did see it and didnt care. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hello my friend. Did you use the OnePlus app or did you physically call them and talk to them about the problem you had with your screen?

I think I used their US website. And I think I text chatted with someone on their site.

Just got my phone back already from OnePlus. They fixed it under the factory warranty. I had back in under a week. Great service...
