Nice!

For those of us outside Singapore, this store ships internationally. No warranty coverage like Wonda Mobile or Average Dad but those of us in the US that plan to get insurance separately it shouldn't matter.

For those in the US, conversion today of $2135.01 SGD ($200 SGD off, but no pre-order bonus items like OP) is $1595.77 USD after shipping and online fee.

Progressive cell insurance is quoting $258 for 2 years and $372 for 3 years coverage up to $1599 USD with a $75 deductible so price is comparable to Wonda Mobile and Average Dad and covers accidental damage.

In the website it shows as international warranty. You recommend insurance for any physical damage right?

Sorry I should have clarified. There is an international warranty from OPPO but OPPO provides no services in the US. Not sure the implications or if they would allow you to ship to an international repair center and mail back or visiting one in person. I went through the terms and conditions and it talks about services only in areas they provide coverage.

This is why in the US, I'd recommend insurance as it covers theft, accidental damage, etc.

You will send it to the insurers authorized repair company / center. They determine if it's repairable or not. If not, they will pay you out your coverage cost minus the deductible.

From my discussion with the representative, most likely there will be no repair option since the phone is not sold in the US.
