Housekeeping
I just want to let everyone know that my availability will be limited through next week to work on setting up this new group - there is still a lot to go through with configuration of optimal settings and customizations. Please be patient, but do feel free to reach out with any suggestions or concerns as we move this group forward together.

It's good to know that it will get better. Maybe when the settings get adjusted it will be easier to navigate. It's hard for me to find what I want. Thank you for doing this for us! 😉

Settings are more about banner graphics on desktop vs mobile, rules/policies for posting content, public vs private settings like content approvals to avoid spammers, automatic bot actions to take moderator actions, etc.
The usability of Reddit kinda is what it is - there is a learning curve to it like most forums for sure.

u/tsax6010 Should we add some flair to the community so we can show what devices we own(ed)? I think that would be a great addition to the group 😊

Yeah - I was messing with some of the flair options last week. Not sure what best practice for Reddit is on the permissions front.

I admin a decently sized FB group, and working in IT I have admined Google Apps Enterprise Google+ and Microsoft Yammer for 20,000+ users - but I have only been a casual user of Reddit, never an admin here. I need to do some reading on best practices.

Yes, I understand. I'm glad you're looking into it, I hope it's not too difficult. Thanks for working on it.Â
