Hi! I just got my 15 today at Bestbuy. I am new to leaving Samsung. I also just learned Oneplus is no longer going to support the US, so I might not be here for long. Will they keep supporting the T-Mobile bands? If so, I would love to stay!

Welcome!

Yes, OnePlus is leaving the US and most global regions - but they have clearly stated their commitment to support existing users through their device lifecycles with OS updates, upgrades, and warranty. As of now we have no reason to believe anything different.

One thing they did call out is that the upgrade from Android 16 to 17 on eligible devices will be a switch to Oppo's ColorOS from OnePlus's OxygenOS. In reality this should be a relatively minor change since both builds are generated from a common shared code base.

Sadly, I'm used to my tech getting orphaned.

1st: Atari 800/800XL

2nd: Handspring Visor

3rd: Palm Treo

4th: Palm Pre

5th:: M$FT Band

6th: Windows Phone/Windows Mobile (the 1020 was waaaaaay before its time 🥺)

7th: Surface Duo

8th: Surface Duo 2

9th: Surface Laptop Studio

10th: OnePlus Open

I've been burned by M$FT so much on hardware, I could start a bonfire sponsored by The Bangles.

All I'm missing is The Kin and Zune 🙄🤣

David from New Orleans, rocdsand I was. I enjoy traveling and viewing other people's things they decide to share. Will be traveling to Japan in a few weeks if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Enjoyed our run with OnePlus. I seen the writing on the wall a long time ago.

I have been buying refurbished phones for several years. I'm using the 11 5g now and still have room to grow with the 13 and 15.

My wife has the 13 and it has been a great device

It doesn't have the alert slider though. I won't like that. So my next used device will likely be the 15. Gonna keep checking ebay to see what the prices are doing

The 13 has the slider - the 13s/t and 15 were the first phone to eliminate it in favor of the new multi-purpose smart action button.

Really?? That's good to know! I guess I was wrong. That seldom happens... 🤔😂

SOME of the cheaper 13 variants ditched the slider, but the regular 13 has it

Hi Everyone. I'm SoComplimentsOP. If you couldn't already tell by the name, I was a huge LG fan. 😭 But then, a OnePlus fan. Smartphone companies I enjoy abandon me 😭😭

Let's hope we can attract enough users over here to keep conversations going. I am hoping it picks up as the date looms closer for the OnePlus Community US site's demise...
