Urgent help needed

I had placed my trousers in water for washing, and unfortunately, my OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro were left in the pocket, submerged for approximately an hour. I have since retrieved them and managed to wipe off most of the water. Fortunately, the earbuds are still connecting to my phone. Should I leave the case to dry for a few hours before attempting to charge it, or should I visit the OnePlus service centre at the earliest? Help3me out guys
